Medina worked as a domestic helper in Singapore from 2010 to 2020 for a Chinese family with four children—two girls aged 1 month and 4 years old, and two boys aged 7 and 10 years old. The family lived in an HDB flat with 2 bedrooms and 2 toilets. Medina was the only helper in the household. Her main responsibility was to take care of the children, especially the 1-month-old baby girl. She assisted with bathing, changing diapers, bottle feeding, toileting, and other daily routines. In addition to childcare, she also helped with general household chores.

Medina has special skills in bicycle riding and hand sewing. Her hobbies include cooking, cleaning, and reading. She is willing to learn simple baking, do car washing, gardening, and take care of pets. Medina prefers to work with Chinese families only.
