From 2017 to 2019, Merlita worked as a housemaid in the Philippines for a Filipino family with three children: a 9-year-old girl, a 7-year-old boy, and a 6-month-old baby boy. The family lived in a bungalow house with 2 bedrooms and 2 toilets, and she was the only helper in the household.

Her main responsibility was to take care of the children, especially the 6-month-old baby. Her main duties included taking care of the 4-year-old child, such as bathing, feeding, giving milk, changing clothes, and combing hair. She also handled household chores including cooking, cleaning, ironing, and laundry.

From 2023 until 2025, she worked for a Chinese family in Singapore with three children, all boys aged 18 months, 3 years old, and 7 years old. The family lived in a 2-storey house with 5 bedrooms and 6 toilets, with three Filipina helpers in the household.

Her primary responsibility was to care for the 18-month-old toddler, including bathing, diaper changing, preparing milk formula, toileting, and sterilizing baby utensils. She also assisted with cooking, cleaning, ironing, and laundry, and worked well as part of a team.

From 2025 until 2026, Merlita worked for a Singaporean/Malay family with three children: a 7-month-old baby boy and two girls aged 5 and 9 years old. They lived in a 3-storey house with 5 bedrooms and 5 toilets, with two Filipina helpers.

Her main responsibility was to take care of the 7-month-old baby, including bathing, diaper changing, feeding, and ensuring the baby’s safety and proper care.
