Merlita worked experience as a housemaid in the Philippines from 2017 to 2019 with a Filipino family, and they have 3 children ages 9 (a girl) and 7 (7 years and 6 months old, both boys). Their residence is a bungalow house with 2 bedrooms and 2 toilets, and she is the only helper working.


Her main duties are to look after the children, especially the six-month-old, and prepare for their daily needs such as bathing, dressing, feeding, sterilizing utensils, and checking the baby as well. She does household chores like laundry, mops, cleans the toilet, cooks, etc.


She is able to do general household chores like cooking, marketing, ironing, laundry, tidying the house, dusting, cleaning the cupboards, etc. She knows how to use electrical appliances such as rice cookers, microwave ovens, oven toasters, washing machines, electric irons, etc.


Her special skills are hand sewing and swimming. Her hobbies are cleaning, cooking, singing, reading storybooks, drawing, working out, and playing volleyball. She is willing to do car washing and gardening and is willing to learn how to bake a cake. She is willing to look after pets like cats, dogs, and birds.

She knows how to cook Filipino food; however, she is willing to learn other dishes.

She is getting ready to work in a Chinese family and an Indian vegetarian and Indian non-vegetarian family.

Merlita is trustworthy, honest, kind, and hardworking. She is suitable for childcare, newborn care (6 months she prefers), and household chores.
