Melanie started working in year 2011 she worked for a Filipino Family with an 89-year-old bedridden elderly and 4 children ages 19, 14, 11, and 2-year-old. The family lived in a bungalow house with four large rooms and three toilet baths. Her job is to babysit the 2-year-old. She is tasked to change the diapers, prepare formulas, feed the baby on time, and all other hygiene needs of the baby. She also takes care of the elderly, is tasked to do all the hygiene stuff, and feeds the elderly on time. Melanie also helps in doing household chores. She served the family until 2013.

Recently, Melanie applied for a job abroad in Singapore. Her first employer is a Chinese couple with 88-year-old women. The house of the family is quite big, it is a 2-storey house with 4 large rooms and 2 toilets & baths. Rowena’s tasks are to take care of the elderly, accompany her to the hospital for checkups, and all the needs of the elderly. She also helps with other chores like cleaning the house, buying groceries, basic general housework, and preparing meals for the family.

Melanie’s 2nd employer was an Indian-Chinese family living in a house with 4 large rooms and 2 toilets and baths. The couple has a 1-year-old and a newborn. She works full time that including cleaning the house, car washing, cooking for the family, and doing the laundry. But her job is focused on taking care of the two kids. It includes changing diapers, potty training, administering medicine with parents’ consent, bathing, and dressing.

She can cook Filipino and Chinese food. She is willing to learn more and types of cooking. She can follow recipe books too.

She is okay to work in any nationality with children 1-year-old and above, she is okay with pet care and willing to do car-washing.

She is an excellent helper and a loving nanny.
